This is easy to try even for foreigners.

Housing loan requirements　

There are two important requirements when ⚠️foreigners will try housing loan examination.

⚠️Foreigner in this case

1️⃣Permanent residence required.

2️⃣Also including, even if you have already acquired Japanese nationality, your Japanese reading comprehension is insufficient.

Two important requirements

1️⃣Regular employee "Sei shain"

2️⃣Japanese language ability (reading and writing including kanji).

Without these two requirements, you cannot try with a normal bank.

So you should try housing loan examination without these two requirement.

They are FLAT 35 and AEON bank. They don't have those two requirements. So Those banks are easy to try even for foreigners.

1️⃣Examination is 3 times in all.

2️⃣1st is simple but, 2nd is detail.

3️⃣And 1st is OK but, 2nd is often NG.

Housing loan examination level

FLAT 35 and AEON bank 1st examination level is almost the same. AEON Bank can conduct examinations on the Internet. So 1st, It is better to do AEON Bank 1st examination.

Both of 2nd examination levels are difficult, but AEON Bank is more difficult than FLAT 35.

So 1st it is better to do AEON Bank 1st examination, and then Flat 35 1st and 2nd examination. If you pass Flat 35, I think it would be better to do AEON bank 2nd examination.

Flat 35

Flat 35 is the name of a housing loan product of the Japan Housing Finance Agency, a policy-based financial institution in Japan. The Japan Housing Finance Agency will examine your application and lend you a housing loan.

Japanese policy financial institution. They will review and give you a housing loan. However before that, specialized financial institution will check.

Specialized financial institution

They will be the point of contact between you and Japan Housing Finance Agency.
